Session und Cookies

Hallo Leute,

wenn ich einen Session starte, wird mir doch auch automatisch ein Cookie mit der Session ID angelegt.
Wenn ich jetzt aber die Cookies deaktiviert habe dann legt mein bisheriger Server die Session ID automatisch hinter jeden Link.
Jett habe ich das auf einem Anderen Server getestet, da ist das nicht so. Muß da was in der php.ini umgemodelt werden und wenn was?

Jo, danke.
Das Problem ist, dass ich selbst keinen Zugriff auf den Server habe. Mein Kunde hat den Server in irgend so einer Hinterhofwerkstatt gehostet, und die lassen niemand auf die Server. Die reagieren zwar immer sofort auf Mailanfragen doch muß man denen wohl alles erklären was sie machen sollen. Darum würde ich denen schon gerne sagen können, dass sie einfach den Wert der Variable X auf 1 oder 0 setzen sollen.

Ich habe denen jetzt einfach mal gesagt, dass die die php.ini entsprechend konfigurieren sollen. Vielleicht finden die ja selbst den richtigen Weg.

Da ich aber demnächst selbst einen eigenen Root-Server bestellt habe, würde mich das aber dennoch interessieren. Mal lernt ja immer dazu!
