Wofür ist die Extension class.tslib_pibase.php?

Hallo =)
Was bezweckt genau die Extension ("class.tslib_pibase.php")
Von dieser Extension erbt meine Klasse class.tx_ilcbuglist_pi1.php und in deren Main wird mit
$this->pi_setPiVarDefaults();
$this->pi_loadLL();
darauf zugegriffen.
Das Problem ist, welche Funktion dieser Aufruf (also "pi_setPiVarDefaults();""pi_loadLL();")bezweckt.

Woher sollte ich eine Klasse kennen, welche auf deinem Server rumdümpelt?
Warum schaust du nicht eben selber nach was das pi_loadLL(); tut?
Selbst ist die Klasse, und selbst ist Google, Editor, Monitor und Tastatur.
