About the Job

You will be responsible to ensure sustainable availability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure.

This includes managing server infrastructure, working with hosting providers, addressing security concerns, managing large scale software rollouts, configuration management of the software stack, and supporting development with test and staging environments, automated testing environments, and virtualization. Who we’re looking for

After obtaining your Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional education in a technical discipline, you were able to gain several years of relevant work experience in the software engineering field.  You are experienced with managing Linux environments, which include the setup and configuration/management of: Nginx, memcached, MySQL, and no-SQL databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB.  You are comfortable working with bash/shell scripting and, ideally, have experience with PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, and/or Java.  You have experience planning and supporting high-traffic website infrastructure and may have used tools such as Puppet, Saltstack and NewRelic.

You possess excellent problem solving skills and focus on details. Plus, you have the ambition to handle daily challenges and tasks.
