XSLTProcessor::transformToXml — Transform to XML
Description
public XSLTProcessor::transformToXml(object
$document): string|null|falseTransforms the source node to a string applying the stylesheet given by the xsltprocessor::importStylesheet() method.
Return Values
The result of the transformation as a string or false on error.

Example #1 Transforming to a string

// Load the XML source
$xml = new DOMDocument;
$xml->load('collection.xml');
$xsl = new DOMDocument;
$xsl->load('collection.xsl');
// Configure the transformer
$proc = new XSLTProcessor;
$proc->importStyleSheet($xsl); // attach the xsl rules
echo $proc->transformToXML($xml);

The above example will output:
