PostgreSQL Beta 2 verfügbar
Das Datenbanksystem PostgreSQL ist in in der Version 8.4 Beta 2 erschienen.

In der Beta 2 wurden zahlreiche Fehler die noch in der Beta 1 vorhanden waren beseitigt. In der Hauptsache sind Fehler bei pg_standby, PL/pgSQL sowie encoding und dem collation handling behoben worden. U.a. wurde dem Utility pg_standby ein "fast" und "smart" Mode Siwtch spendiert
