xt:Commerce 6.5 for PHP 8.1 and new PayPal Checkout

xt:Commerce Version 6.5 released

  The widely known online store software has been made fit for PHP 8.1 with the current update. With this update, the developers discontinue support for PHP 7 and no longer provide any security-related updates.

Furthermore, numerous bugs were fixed and the store software was adapted to the current legal situation.

PayPal Checkout

As a further renewal, the PayPal connection was revised. The new integration of PayPal Checkout is now available for download. As the developers announced, all customers who switch to PayPal Checkout by Dec. 31, 2022, will receive a reduction in PayPal fees until July 31, 2023.
